Dr. Nirav Modi

Dr Nirav Modi started his journey in medicine in 1999 , starting with MBBS from NHL MMC Ahmedabad (V.S Hospital) . He then pursued and accomplished MS Ophthalmology (2006-2009)from the prestigious M & J Western Regional Institute of Ophthalmology , Ahmedabad. He then went on and did SIR RATAN TATA Phacoemulsification fellowship basic and advanced Cataract surgery from the prestigious Shankara Nethralaya , Chennai. He is trained in Glaucoma diagnostics and Surgery from the apex institute AIIMS Delhi. He has also recieved certified observership in Intraocular Lens Implantation from Seven Springs Surgery Centre , Florida , USA under the guidance of respected Dr . Larry Perisch. He has perfomred 100s of cataract and glaucoma surgeries in countries like SOUTH AFRICA (2011-2013) , KENYA (2014) , JAMAICA (2015-2017) , under the aegis of Anikant Community Centre , LA , USA. He worked as an Assistant Professor for many years at M & J WRIO Ahmedabad and began his journey with INSIGHT EYE CARE HOSPITALS in 2017. He has also served as Ex Managing Committee Member and Ex Honorary Joint Secretary for the Ahmedabad Medical Association. He is currently the Honorary Zonal Joint Secretary ,Gujarat State branch , for the Indian Medical Association. He is available for consultation daily at Vadaj branch in the mornings and Shahibaug branch in the afternoon.
